The Craddock Precision HD ARC Bolt was engineered specifically around the demands of the ARC family of cartridges. Built for shooters pushing modern high-performance loads, this enhanced design features reinforced geometry, improved lug design, and increased strength in critical stress areas to improve durability and long-term reliability under heavy use.
Designed to support pressures up to 62,000 PSI, the HD ARC Bolt was developed for serious shooters who expect more from their rifles — whether that means extended range sessions, competition use, or hard field conditions.
During development and testing, we pushed the HD ARC Bolt well beyond its 62,000 PSI operating specification to validate the strength and durability of the design. 62,000 PSI remains the maximum recommended operating pressure. Those tests are part of how we validate the bolt — not an invitation to exceed the published limit.
The HD ARC Bolt is manufactured using carefully selected, high-quality materials with tightly controlled and verified heat-treatment processes. Material and heat-treat specifications are controlled throughout manufacturing to provide consistent strength, durability, and performance from bolt to bolt.
